Monifa Porter is a friend from my undergrad days at Miami University. She grew up in Southwestern Ohio, attended Miami then earned an MA from OSU and an MBA from Stanford, and currently lives in the SF Bay Area. She's Rachel Carson, Molly Ivins, Kate Clinton, Queen Vashti, Desmond Tutu, Margaret Mead, and Sojourner Truth, all rolled into one kapowy force.
