I love diner food. Perhaps you've notice. There is a non-glamorized diner near the apartment that I enjoy, even though it's sort of dirty. But, that isn't necessarily a bad thing in a diner. Well, it's not a great thing anywhere, but dirt caked in grease can be considered atmosphere. The proprietor, I assume called Tina, is very friendly.
On this last weekend before Christmas, the Boy in the Checkered Shirt and I stopped here. We started with coffee, I ordered an omelet with vegetables and cheddar cheese, he had eggs with turkey bacon - he was happy to find a place close to home that serves it. We'll be back.
